Our HIDDEN Obstacles! (Notes from April 6th 2009 Conference call)
Our Thoughts and Habits.
Thoughts are Habitual too. Thoughts reveal beliefs. Beliefs are like operating systems. Or RULE BOOKS. They simply produce certain predictable results.
"None are more trapped than those who think they are free but are not "
- Goethe
Habits:
"The beginning of a habit is like an invisible thread.
Every time you repeat the act you strengthen the strand.
You add to it another filament with each repetition,
until it becomes a great cable and binds you irrevocably to each thought and act.
First you make your habits and then they make you.
Your thoughts lead you to your purpose.
Your purpose always manifests into action.
Your actions form your habits.
Your habits determine your character,
and your character fixes your destiny.
Your habits are either the best of servants or the worst of masters."

#1 Know our own thoughts, being aware of the thoughts in your head are an important first step,
#2 Ask yourself where did that come from. At one point in your life that might have been good council but is now a limiting behavior.
#3 Challenge your thoughts and make the proper changes based on new experiences.
“Life does not consist mainly – or even largely – of facts and happenings. It consists mainly of the storm of thoughts that is forever blowing through one's head.”
Mark Twain

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to manifest the glory of God within us. Its not just in some of us, its in everyone - and as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
- MARIANNE WILLIAMSON
